Guillaume de Nangis

Guillaume de Nangis (d. 1300), also known as William of Nangis, was a French chronicler and monk in the Abbey of St.-Denis.

Guillaume briefly mentions Prester John in his chronicle Gesta Ludovici IX, written shortly before his death. Although Guillaume was a compiler rather than a writer, his chronicles influences later writers of history, including Jean de Joinville
