Guillaume de Nangis (d. 1300), also known as William of Nangis, was a French chronicler and monk in the Abbey of St.-Denis.

Guillaume briefly mentions Prester John in his chronicle Gesta Ludovici IX, written shortly before his death. Although Guillaume was a compiler rather than a writer, his chronicles influences later writers of history, including Jean de Joinville.

Gesta Ludovici IX A chronicle compiled by Parisian monk Guillaume de Nangis, the Gesta Ludovici contains almost the exact details of the Prester John as Mongolian account originally written in Odo, Bishop of Tuscolano's Letter to Pope Innocent IV, written some fifty years earlier.
