Description:
The Scranton coal miners' monument depicts a coal miner wearing a mining hat and carrying an axe and lunch pail. The miner is standing on top of a piece of coal. This illustration is similar to the memorial in Nanticoke. This monument is on route to the Pennsylvania Anthracite Heritage Museum or the Lackawanna Mine Tour, if going through McDade Park.
