Clemens, besser bekannt unter seinem Schriftstellernamen Mark Twain, befand sich unter den Passagieren des Dampfers „Bermudian,“ der gestern von hier nach Bermuda abdampfte. Es hieß, dass der Humorist an einem Kehlkopfübel leide und die Aerzte ihm eine Reise ach dem Süden verordnet hätten. Clemens, better known by his pen name, Mark Twain, was among the passengers on the steamer “Bermudian,” which departed yesterday for Bermuda. It was said that the humorist was suffering from a throat ailment and that the doctors had ordered him to travel south. During the past week he is said to have been quite unwell.
