Goran Visnjic Starts Filming in November

Even though the American science fiction drama series ‘Timeless’ was quite popular with fans and critics, the time travel show ratings for NBC were surprisingly low, which is why the network decided to cancel the series in May. But then, just like the characters themselves, the show changed its own history, and only three days after the cancellation, thanks to the fans, the network changed its mind and renewed the series for a 10-episode second season.

As most of you know, in the first season, Lucy Preston (Abigail Spencer), Rufus Carlin (Malcolm Barrett) and Wyatt Logan (Matt Lanter) went on an odyssey through time as they sought to protect history from the mysterious and dangerous Garcia Flynn (Goran Visnjic).

The fan support for this show became loud and clearly evident on social media as Timeless trended for hours after the news about the show’s cancellation. Even in this modern age, we rarely get to see such stunning turnaround on television. In fact, ‘Timeless’ un-cancellation may go down as one of this year's most surprising stories.

As a reward for all the fans’ love and devotion, the series co-creators Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan revealed some juicy details about the upcoming Season 2. (Even though the writers’ room is supposed to start up this month, we were able to get some teasers regarding the spring/summer 2018 premiere.

The second season of Timeless is in the works, and as we learn, Goran Visnjic, Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter and Malcolm Barrett are already preparing for the highly anticipated return. Namely, season 2 will begin shooting in November ahead of a 2018 premiere, and it will take Timeless viewers on a roller coaster ride through history.

Apart from the usual celebrity cast including the ultimate supervillain and Croatia’s most famous actor Goran Visnjic, in the second season, we’re expecting to see other notable actors that will appear regularly as guest stars. Unlike season 1, which had full 22 episodes, season 2 will return with only 10 episodes. However, the series creators stated that even with a shorter order, there is going to be doubling down on untold history, and even more exciting historical adventures.
