Goran complains: Now, the cat is more popular than me...

For years now, the actor Goran Visnjic points out that he is a great animal lover. He is a member of both PeTA and IFAW and has been a part of several campaigns against the use of fur and for the protection of animals. The actor believes that animal protection is an issue that crosses all political and social boundaries. Since the very beginning of his Hollywood acting career he has been a member of AFC (Animal Friends Croatia) and soon after he launched the very first anti-fur campaign in Eastern Europe. On the other side, his work with IFAW is mainly focused on wildlife conservation, most recently including the white polar bears. 
He and his wife Eva regularly visit Croatia and help in the creation of animal shelters. He even taught his kids to love animals from very early age.

Although there are several dogs in his Los Angeles home, at the moment the biggest star of the family is the 'frowned' cat Victor. 
Visnjic points out that Victor is a real little destroyer of drones. He learned that the cat did not really like it when he tried to take pictures of him both from with his drones and the smartphone. Somehow Goran managed to turn his cat Victor into a celebrity on Instagram and other social networks.

 “He's a real little destroyer of drones.”- said Goran. 


He added that the cat fears the local veterinarian so much that hides itself in the kitchen sink out of panic when the time comes for a regular check-up. Victor's photos are published on the social network, and his popularity grows day by day. 

“It seems, in terms of the likes, that people actually prefer Victor than me.”- he jokes. 

The actor from Sibenik was recently in Croatia, where he completed the shooting of the film 'General', where he embodied a famous Croatian war general named Ante Gotovina.
