What type of milk source do you want to use?

Here are a few options, and where they come from!

 

Dairy Milk

Dairy milk is the complicated milk.

If you are getting your milk from a large dairy farm… this is how it happens.

Cows produce milk for the same reason

humans do, to feed their young!       

However, on large dairy farms, calves are taken from there mothers at just one day old!

Calves are then fed ‘milk replacers’ so that their mother’s milk can be sold to humans!

When by dairy milk look for these stamps…

USDA Organic

…Or try a different type of milk!

Dairy milk's benefits inculde things like vitamin D and potassium

Almond Milk

Almond milk, comes from almonds!

Its made by grounding almonds with water, straining out the almond flesh.

Almond milk can also be made by adding water to almond butter.

Some benfits of almonf milk are that it contains vitamins like vitamin D and vitamin E. Another added bouns is that the sugar free almond milk does not raise blood sugar levels.

Soy Milk

Made by soaking and grinding soybeans, boiling it and straining it!
Soy is a legume that has many health benefits including reducing cholesterol, risk of cancer, and also improves cardiovascualr health.

 

The Home-made Ice-cream recipe

​One cup of milk​
2 teaspoons full of vanilla extract
3 teaspoons of honey
​don't forget... 6 teaspoons of ice-cream salt.
Stir until honey is gone, then pour it into a small bag,
​then, put some ice in a big zip-lock bag, and put the small zip-lock bag in the middle.
​After, shake it for 8-10 minutes, or until it reaches the consistency you enjoy!

Note: You are not limited to zip-lock bags!
