These students did an incredible job creating poems about their multiple identities. They were so excited after they created these they asked for us to read each one out aloud to the class and staff!
Student 1. Grade 4: I am Saimonnie/Samiah I’m from Belize. I’m a cheerleader 8, I’m crazy

My skin is brown

I listen to my mommy & Daddy
I love
You might not like me I’m the weirdest kid on the planet and no one is like me
But it does not matter because its my life you don’t run

Student 2. Grade 7: My identity is being a sports player and my gender is a boy. I am the most active person in the class.
