Lessons

The following lessons have been created to engage students in Japanese American History before, during, and after World War II. These lessons follow the narrative arch as presented this exhibit. Teachers and students are encouraged to utilize the CSU Japanese American Digitization Project Database, the CSU campus archives, as well as the sources listed in "Related Resources" for additional documentary evidence and extended subject inquiries. These lessons are provided as a starting point for discussion and critical analysis.  Teachers and students are invited to alter the assignments as needed to best compliment course curricula.
