Nathan Glazer

Nathan Glazer (1923-2019) was an American sociologist who taught at the University of California, Berkeley, and for several decades at Harvard University.​​​​​​ Glazer grew up in New York and attended the City College in the 1940s, where he fell in with a number of other young Marxists who were hostile to Soviet-style communism, including Irving Howe, Daniel Bell, and Irving Kristol.
