Gershon Einbinder (Chaver Paver)

Gershon Einbinder (1900-1964), pen name Chaver Paver, was a Yiddish writer who was born in Bershad, Podolia. He fled local pogroms in 1921 to Romania, and in 1923 he immigrated to the United States where he mingled with Yiddish writers young and old in New York City.
