Animals are the primary host for parasitic zoonoses, but through conflict, population changes and inadequate food and water supply, they spillover into human species. Parasitic zoonoses can range from asymptomatic to life threatening. With a developing world and decreasing environmental health, parasitic zoonotic diseases are emerging and reemerging, leaving many populations at risk.
