Zomick's Bakery: The bakery with the supreme quality

Zomick’s Bakery

On a recent visit to Zomick’s Bakery, one of New York’s oldest gems, the bakery’s owner introduced us with the story behind their 50 years of existence. After so many years of being in the business, the bakery still manages to make list to the best bakeries in America. The bakery has been a New York staple for over 50 years, and during those years, the bakery has gathered a base of loyal customers who truly appreciate and enjoy their authentic taste. Their loaves are incredible, or as customers describe them, phenomenal. The crumb is springy, with just enough tart, with a thin, firm crust. Inside it is rich, moist and a little denser than most bread, still satisfyingly chewy without being heavy.

The bakery’s interior is a story by itself, designed in an authentic rustic style, with a home-like feeling to it.  The whole environment gives you a pleasant, warm feeling, inviting you inside. The wall, the chairs, the tables, the linens, just everything inside the bakery adds to that cozy overall feeling. Every day, they put one of their pastries on the chalkboard menu, giving customers an opportunity to try something new. If you are looking to buy a loaf, it is probably for the best that you come earlier, as they tend to sell quite easy. Those who want a different type of breakfast can choose from Zomicks’ wide range of pastries and sweets. If you are looking for something sweet and simple you can get one of their famous muffins, and if you want to go with something more old fashioned, you can decide for a slice of homemade cheese cake. Whatever you choose, it is a win-win situation.

Along with its freshly made breakfast and lunch menus, Zomick’s bakery also offers a wide variety of items to appease your sweet tooth. Croissants, muffins, bagels, cinnamons rolls, Danishes, pies and so much more, there is something for everyone there. So if you are ever close by, make sure to stop and taste some of their delicious pastries. It will definitely be a trip worth taking.
