Exercise: Brand Impact Infographic
Part A. You’ve been introduced to the easel.ly, the online infographic creation tool. Using material and information you've collected in your project research on your Major Food Brand, create an ease.ly infographic on either your company's impact on the economy and ecology of the State of Illinois or world, OR your company's development of Sustainability Policies and Practices, and what "Sustainability" means to them. Cite the references you use as sources in your info graphic.
Link to your easel.ly infographic by clicking on the "view | share" link under your infographic icon at your login page (your login page should look like the image above). You can copy and paste the "weblink" URL it provides into your assignment page, or download the image and add it to your assignment page.
Part B. In 2 paragraphs, describe your process of design. What message(s) did you aim to emphasize? And what design and information strategies did you use to meet your objective? Cite the articles that you use for it (min. 2 articles) here.
Part C. In 2 additional paragraphs, consider our reading this week from Rampton and Stauber. In 2 paragraphs, reflect on how they would likely react to your infographic. What general design adjustments or changes do you think they would suggest you make -- and what additional sources do you think they would suggest you consider?* Here is the guide to using Easel.ly that was handed out in class today.
