The priests vest here, and the Altar Guild prepares for the services in this room. Since no original plans of the church are known, it is unclear when the sacristy was first built. A small room off the nave may have been part of Charles Crosby Miller's original plans, but it is certain that the original room was not as large as it is now. During the rectorate of the Rev. Alexander Seabrease, the first Parish House was constructed, and it seems likely that the room was established by that time. During the rectorate of his successor, Rev. Edward Averill, the windows in the nave were blocked off, and it seems likely that the sacristy was greatly enlarged and the present vault installed.
