Together Apart: Freshman Colloquium

Ethics and Moral Reasoning

Chair's Introduction:

How do we cope with conflict, dilemmas, or challenges and decide how to act? How do we weigh intangible concepts like community good, individual rights, or acceptable risk? These papers treat difficult choices and decide what ought to be done so that we might bring about a more just and equitable society.
