Contains telegrams, memos, and reports to the State Department largely concerning Polish mediation between the United States and the People’s Republic of China regarding American interests in Southeast Asia, with a particular emphasis on Vietnam.

Folder 6 (64 documents) - Nov. 1963 - Sept. 1966
Contains documents concerning the day-to-day issues that arose at the American Embassy in Warsaw, including requests from the Embassy for instructions from the State Department. Messages also include information on events in Poland which might interest the State Department

Contains documents on cross-Curtain cooperation and the development of U.S.-Poland relations, with some documents dealing with internal Polish politics. Some documents also deal with historical commemorations.

Contains correspondence between the Polish embassy and President Johnson’s administration, including correspondence with ambassadors Gronouski and Drozniak covering the escalating crisis in Vietnam and Laos, as well as memoranda regarding the improvement of East-West relations through economic policy.
