This folder contains telegrams, memos, and reports from the American embassy in Warsaw to the State Department largely concerning Polish mediation between the United States and the People’s Republic of China regarding American interests in Southeast Asia, with a particular emphasis on Vietnam. The PRC-US Ambassadorial Talks in this folder took place in Warsaw between US Ambassadors John Moors Cabot (until September, 1965) and John Gronouski (after November, 1965) and the Chinese Ambassadors Wang Bingnan (until April, 1964) and Wang Guoquan (after April, 1964).
