Malloy is the author of Uncle Roger, a three-part hypertextual database narrative that is centered around semi-conductor chip industry espionage in Silicon Valley during the 1980s. This serial novel was created in BASIC and delivered to the tech savvy audience of the Art Com Electronic Network community that resided in the WELL (“Whole Earth ‘Lectric Link”) circa 1986. The traversal is divided into three parts and reveals to us the highlights and implications of the work.
