Malloy is the author of Uncle Roger, a three-part hypertextual database narrative that is centered on semi-conductor chip industry espionage in Silicon Valley during the 1980s. This serial novel was created in BASIC and delivered to the tech savvy audience of the Art Com Electronic Network community that resided in the WELL (“Whole Earth ‘Lectric Link”) circa 1986. The interview is divided into thirteen parts and provides insights into the development of the work.
