Have you every imagined a different world that you wish you could live in? J.K. Rowling made up a whole world with witches and wizards, and most people are still waiting for their letters from Hogwarts. Thinking up a world requires designing the laws, traditions, the way people act, history, and so on. As you watch the video above it will go over these requirements and you will learn how to make a fictional world. As you can see a lot goes in to making a fictional world. A lot of thinking went in to making the world that Harry Potter lives in, so remember this as you sit down to write your narrative paper. So take your time and make sure that you put in all the needed information to make your world come alive. The assignment for today is to make up a place that would belong in the world that Rowling created. I want you to tell me where this place is, the name, the history behind it, the people that live or work there, what it looks like, and anything else that you want to share. Post this in the comment bubble below. Cannot wait to see what kinds of places you all come up with!
