Developing my very own eco-concept whilst encountering previous reading natures students led me to the work of Hiba Alhamidawi and Isabella M-White. Their critical reflection on plant worlds explores the very relationship and connection that plants have within the natural world. Plants have often been overlooked as a complex and important part on deterring the eco-concept of a Holocene state. Both students cleverly compare the definition and perception of plants to their actual uses on planet Earth. Plants are a misconstrued notion where literature has transformed the connection, we are able to have and also understand them. The significance in which plants have on our natural world stems through the production of oxygen and maintaining life just as Allen says on the topic of plant blindness. The importance that plants play is almost pivotal in deterring a Holocene state with the integration and understanding of nature playing the role of the facilitator between all walks of life. Plants play a pivotal role in continually keeping together eco-systems through their variations and continued transition to be fruitful for other walks of life. Whether it is to be eaten or whether it is to produce medicine or whatever it may be plants are a pivotal part of any eco-system with the end goal creating a reconceptualised view on plants itself. The important aspect in which plants entail is the foundation to all forms of life in our natural landscape. For example, just look outside in your back yard, what is the one thing you can see? Plants.
