Evil HERO Adusted Gold
12019-12-11T15:28:19-08:00Brian A Zabawa02e3d54f75bf02b8277e6786d60eb560eec8d8cb359854The Evil HEROs are a line of monster that were meant to be the evil counterparts of the original members of the Elemental HERO archetype. They were not very successful until their most recent wave of support . Evil HERO Adusted Gold is one of the new Evil HEROs and it is used as a searcher. A searcher is used to search out a specific card from the deck and add it to your hand. Adusted Gold searches for the Evil HERO fusion spell which is required for the summoning of their extra deck monsters. I believe Adusted Gold is the best looking Evil HERO, and is the only Evil HERO that looks better that its Elemental HERO counterpart. The thing that makes Adusted Gold look so good to me is the perspective given in the art, and the spikes on the armor remind me of the costumes from Power Rangers: Dino Thunder.plain2019-12-12T20:01:04-08:00Trading CardYugioh CardMain Deck MonsterEvil HEROSeptember 26, 2019Kazuki TakahashiBrian A Zabawa02e3d54f75bf02b8277e6786d60eb560eec8d8cb

The were meant to be direct evolutions to the Elemental HERO cards. In the series Yu-Gi-Oh GX hero Jayden Yuki goes two ways based on the version you see. In the manga he turns to Masked HEROs, and in the anime he begins using Evil HEROs. However, the season they were introduced in was never given to American audiences so it is only available in Japanese.
The Evil HEROs take their inspiration form the Elemental HEROs strangely enough. They are supposed to be corrupt and evil versions of the fusion monsters that they have at their diaposal. They also have an underlying tone throughout. They have version of fusion monsters that use Elemental HERO Burstinitrix. She was the original fire HERO, and fire is sometimes seen as evil. Therefor the fusions that use her resemble her much more than the other material.
The Evil HEROs do not really have a unique playstyle as they are mant to be played with Elemental HEROs. So they more or less foloow the same strategy of just making fusion monsters with the required materials from your hand or graveyard. Their fusion monsters have fairly similar effects to their counterparts, and their main deck monsters are just better versions of their counterparts.
The Evil HEROs just recieved their first new support since they were first released. It gave us a great new generic fusion monster, and a great new fusion spell searcher.
