It's HERO Time: The Best Looking HERO Cards in Yu-Gi-Oh

Fusion Monsters

Fusion Monsters were the original extra deck monsters in the game. In fact it used to be called the fusion deck before the intorduction of synchro monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's. They are traditionally made with two or more monsters by using a fusion spell card and sending monsters from the hand or field to the graveyard. Some of the earliest boss monsters were fusion monster like Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon which fuses three Blue Eyes White Dragons together.

Fusing is also the primary method of summoning in the HERO archetype. From the beginning of it all Elemental HEROs were one of the first decks to make full use of the extra deck by having a whole slew of fusion monsters at its disposal. You can tell it is a fusion monster by its purple edge around the card. You can also see their requirements for fusing just above the effect.

If you don't care about where they came from then you can take a look at all the HERO fusion monsters I have selected for this list, below!
