During her tenure as director, the Women’s Studies Program was recognized as one of the fastest growing programs at IPFW, and in May 2016 the program graduated its largest class in its history under her leadership. She also directed the program during one of its most tumultuous times, leading the charge with students, alumni, and faculty and community supporters to have the program reinstated after it was shut down in fall 2016, alongside several other programs in the liberal arts.
