Players got a sense of accomplishment from solving the puzzle, no matter how quickly they guessed. Unlike traditional video games, there were no complicated rules or time limits. This simplicity made it accessible to anyone with an internet connection. It showed that sometimes, the best games are the ones with the simplest concepts.
