After the 92 L.A riot, Koreatown (Ktown) slowly expanded small businesses in food and entertainment market. Many children of immigrants who experienced Saigu (1992 L.A riot) are now young adults and adults. These groups tend to visit Ktown to eat, drink, and enjoy various entertainment. Ktown food and cuisines are much diverse than any other districts in the U.S. Not limited to Korean traditional menus, it has variety of Mexican, Argentinian, Colombian , Brazilian, Japanese, Chinese-Korean, Indian, Thai, and continuously spread out in Ktown. Ktown is important part of Los Angeles to attract diverse consumers to enjoy their dine out.
