Bryan B. Killikelly, then rector of St. Mary's Delphi, attempted to establish a mission in the village of Pittsburgh, Tippecanoe Township, Carroll County, Indiana. After Killikelly left Delphi, the mission remained vacant until March 1856, when the congregation elected a vestry and attempted to formally establish a mission. The Rev. Alonzo J. M. Hudson, rector of St. Mary's, provided services briefly until the congregation folded.
