Effective Uses of Ineffective Designs

Ling Valentine is the owner and face of LINGsCARS, which she calls "the UK's favorite car leasing website." The site is very colorful, and while the photo I've provided doesn't show it, the site is covered in moving graphics and videos as well.
The site is wild and colorful and laughs in the face of modern minimalism, but it's also very successful at drumming up business for Mrs. Ling.
This website may be unconventional, and it does subject it's viewers to paisley, but it's also an exceedingly clever marketing strategy for a locally owned business. The website functions incredibly well, and the content is organized in a neat grid system lower on the page, though the humor never leaves. Buying a car is stressful and time consuming, so this site is change of pace from the usual monotony of car sales, and it's just fun to visit.
