Twine
Twine is an open-source, interactive, digital story telling platform. Students can use this platform to create "choose-your-own-adventure" narratives or essays. Because Twine enables writers to give their readers choices about which paths to follow, students can also think about writing and ideas as about making choices or following given paths.
The platform is easy to learn--watch the 9-minute video tutorial--and easy to share. While no coding knowledge is necessary, some basic html allows the insertion of images into the Twine essay
