This session is built to provide an understanding of the necessary tools involved in both the creation and display of photogrammetry-based 3D content.
What exactly is photogrammetry?
Photogrammetry as a term, broken down, means making measurements from photograph(s). Photogrammetry is used in many different applications to generate valuable data from photographs, but for our purposes, we are using photogrammetry to generate detailed 3D models. This means an object which previously could only be viewed "in the round" by visiting a specific location can now be seen and manipulated around the world!
