In 1927, Cleveland served as the meeting place for religious leaders to combat domestic terrorism. This meeting aided in the formation of The National Conference of Christians and Jews. In 2006, this organization changed its name to The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio.
This nonprofit not only promotes racial diversity, but gender, age, religion, sex, ethnicity, culture, ability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status inclusion, too.
