Israel Zmora

Israel Zmora (1899-1983) was a Jewish literary critic, writer, translator and publisher. He studied at a yeshiva in Odessa and moved to Mandatory Palestine in 1925 where he collaborated with a group of avant-garde Hebrew writers who rallied around the rival modernist weekly publications Ktuvim and Turim.
