Family Grilling

Traditionally, when families desired to have a selection of meat that they wanted barbecued or smoked, restaurants were the only place where they could go. In the middle-end of the twentieth century, the first grill was made and sold at all home improvement stores. The idea of a gas or a propane grill inspired the male role to buy meat from the market and barbecue and smoke the selected meat for their family. This later turned into a tradition for families to start grilling in the summer time. The first meats what were barbecued on theses grills were ribs, ground beef, and pork. Eventually, grilling different types of meat started to expanded because exp of experimentation. Turkey, chicken thighs and drumsticks, different selections of pork, chicken wings, steaks, brisket, sirloins, hamburger, and hot dogs.
Meat consumption started to reach at it's high in the middle twentieth century and consumers started experimenting much further by grilling different items. The idea of kebabs started to evolved. This is where small selections of meat and vegetables were combined onto a stick and grilled. The idea was for those who were worried about meat consumption and getting their veggies along with their meal. Kebabs became popular in the summer time when families attend group barbecues. Grilling has evolved in the last twenty-thirty years because American's are started to buy their own grill and in the summer time, grilling is in the peak season. Being outside with loved ones, grilling for a family is a new tradition in the summer time.
