Here are some steps you can use to adjust and clean up your assembly:
Technical Note Crossfades are being introduced here because they are a sound editing best practice and are used in all sound editing platforms. You will notice, however, that Audacity automatically merges sound clips when you click on the slip (black line) between them. If you choose to use this option, make sure to listen closely to where the split was to make sure there are not any pops or clicks. If there is, undo the auto merge and use a crossface.
