When I Think of Home: Images from L.A. ArchivesMain MenuIntroductionThe greater Los Angeles area is on the traditional lands of the Gabrielino/Tongva, Chumash, Fernandeño Tataviam and Yuhaaviatam/Maarenga’yam (Serrano) peoples. We acknowledge their presence here since time immemorial and recognize their continuing connection to the land, to the water and to their ancestors.L.A. Occasional events, like this church society party, were held there, but the home was largely empty. By the time the Temples reunited in summer 1929 after the children graduated from their respective schools, financial problems worsened. The next spring, the house was leased and the family moved, soon to lose it in 1932 during the Great Depression.plain2020-10-11T18:51:47-07:001928Workman & Temple Family Homestead MuseumCopyright has not been assigned to Workman & Temple Family Homestead Museum.34.144553,-118.1645887Workman and Temple Family Homestead Museum, City of Industry, CaliforniaLa Puente, Calif.UnknownStella Castillo3fcfe63ebb36641784421d25ab3a77ed9ea98855
