When I Think of Home: Images from L.A. ArchivesMain MenuIntroductionThe greater Los Angeles area is on the traditional lands of the Gabrielino/Tongva, Chumash, Fernandeño Tataviam and Yuhaaviatam/Maarenga’yam (Serrano) peoples. We acknowledge their presence here since time immemorial and recognize their continuing connection to the land, to the water and to their ancestors.L.A. This November 1924 letter from daughter Agnes to her brother Thomas discusses progress on the house during a visit from her during a time when she attended a girl's school in Los Angeles. Surviving letters show the eagerness of the family to enjoy their home, but conditions dramatically changed.2020-09-30T15:39:03-07:0011/11/24Workman & Temple Family Homestead MuseumNo Copyright- in public domainWorkman and Temple Family Homestead Museum, City of Industry, CaliforniaLos Angeles, Calif.Agnes E.
