Using Scalar in the Classroom

Creating Paths

Putting It All Together

Now that you've created and populated your pages, we can take the final step and stitch them together into a path. Remember that if a Scalar project is a book, a path is a little bit like a chapter (although there are other ways people use them, too).

Paths are special kinds of pages; not all pages are paths, but all paths are pages. In order to make a path, make a new page using the New Page button (which looks like a plus and is located in the top right hand menu). Then you can navigate to the bottom of the page, which will look like this:

Select the Relationships tab, and in the drop down select Path. In the Path tab, select the link that says "Choose The Items That It Contains." You'll see a pop up menu that looks like this:

Select your three pages and the click "Add Selected." You'll be returned to the paths tab, where you can reorder the order of your pages in the path by dragging and dropping them.
