Bryn Mawr received their own post office in 1895. This was important because it placed Bryn Mawr on the map as a thriving townsite. The first postmaster was Willian J. Lawrence. At that time Bryn Mawr Post Office was small and was located in the Dallas Family Grocery Store. For many years Bryn Mawr had a separate post office from Loma Linda and today Bryn Mawr residents still have their own postal code. Because of this code, you can still find Bryn Mawr on internet maps.
