Project Team

Marika Cifor is a PhD Candidate in Information Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she is also pursuing certificates in the Digital Humanities and Gender Studies. In fall 2016 she will be joining Bowdoin College as a Consortium for Faculty Diversity Postdoctoral Fellow in Gender, Sexuality and Womens' Studies. Her research interests include affect, memory, community archives, critical theory, and the social implications of technology. Together with Anne J. Gilliland, Cifor is guest editor of an Archival Science special issue on "Affect and the Archive, Archives and their Affects". Her work has appeared in The American Archivist, Archival Science, Library Trends, Archivaria, Archives and Records,InterActions,and Transgender Studies Quarterly.

 


Britt S. Paris is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Information Studies at UCLA. Her research interests include information and communication technology aesthetics, critical data studies, history and philosophy of technology and information ethics. Her work has been published in Big Data + Society, Discourse and Society, Triple Canopy, and InterActions.
