At nearly nineteen feet in length and weighing more than two tons, the styling of the 1956 Premiere belied its mammoth proportions. Low, rounded bumpers and unusual jet-pod exhausts complemented its sleek exterior. The two-door coupe lacked vertical window posts, further accentuating the streamlined design. Along with a muscular V8 engine, the car came equipped with power steering, brakes, windows, and seats.
