When starting a digital project, it is important to find a tool that fits your needs rather than start with a tool and force your research to fit within it.  One way to approach this is to look at existing projects to identify tools that will help you analyze and visualize your research.  Check the DiRT Directory for an extensive list of digital tools.  The tools listed below are only a very very short list of examples of content management systems that you can use to collection digital resources and display them to an online audience.
