Love your creation....(Margie's comment)

This interface had me laughing the whole time I was reading it. And while it certainly seems to embody (pun intended) the issues of identity representation in VR, I couldn't help, after all the giggles had subsided, but wonder about the actual serious nature of this creation. Indeed, you have chosen the broad categories of species first, then into other categorizing fields. And, like I struggled with in my interrogation of VR representation - I find myself unable to comprehend ANY system that can avoid the pitfalls of the very RL structures that influence us. It seems that no matter how hard we may try to imagine a truly "utopian" space - I'm honestly wondering if it's even possible. Can there actually exist a space in which we can either truly embody our RL identity, or "try on" or "adopt" a new one for a new experience altogether. GAH! This week has really been a mind-bender for me!
