July 21/22 facilities agenda: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17ZqOhEMJt9qPa3U7EmgoTbzKm3mbw77uxHw3-V99oSA/edit?ts=578e94fe

Ken:  651 523-2870
Ramsey Grant -- was there any audit / reporting necessary? (Ken did some reporting that he agreed to share with us.)
(Valentine will ask Busch about compost lids)

Compost bins
- when? (looking into blue and green lids for old square lids -- * look at name)
- what kind of pickup schedule? ask Ed -- probably 5/week, maybe start with fewer -- with a 2 or 4 yard (or 30 gallon on wheels with a lid -- much like the ones we're already using for pig waste)
- how are we interacting with 25live / scheduling / to know when compost gets picked up?

Can we centralize or at least map other waste diversion on campus? (might make sense as something we do with ABM as they create places for people to access vacuums, etc.)
- books
- batteries
- printer cartridges and other electronic related stuff (we may need to come up with language for "Hamline-based")
- #4 plastic film

ABM:
- What is the timeline for changing office cleaning over to being self-managed? (good education opportunity -- ed can include bag free bin options, where to bring your waste, how to avoid problems)
- are there trash cans that currently get washed regularly? Where?
- let's coordinate student workers who are going to handle recycling and composting and waste/reuse

Dining services:
- what's the story with Subway? (reducing packaging OR providing film recovery for bags / reducing use of black plastic)
- has Starbucks figured out compostable cups yet?

Environmental Studies Capstone course:
- MN Waste Wise & Eureka: audits, particularly of amounts / signage / placement
- watch Garbage Dreams and the pacific garbage gyre movie and story of stuff (short film festival?? talk to Pipervision?! Programming board: 2nd Saturday films -- plug in for a high-impact one, or for previews!!)
