                                                                              Abstract

Draupadi is a famous character in Indian mythology. She faced many difficulties in her life. At first, she was used as an object. Draupadi was won by a warrior named Arjun, in an archery contest. She married Arjun and four Pandava brothers at the same time and remained loyal to them. She was dishonored during a court scene in which she was disrobed and humiliated for men’s amusement. She stood up and fought back for her rights and wanted to take revenge for the injustice that she had faced. (Narayan pg. 159)
Throughout ancient Indian history, women were treated like object for men’s pleasure and were denied their freedom of speech and having a life of their own. Men considered them inferior and they had to obey their husbands unconditionally. However, in the modern-day women have power and equal rights in society. Looking back on how women were treated establishes the foundation of women’s rights and equality today.

The abstract is a general outline of how my research paper would be like. It is a way to express the general idea and focus on the major thing that the paper would have. It also provided me a start of how to research paper format would be like. The abstract helped me developing the format and basic information regarding my research paper. It helped my writing skills in such a way that I could understand the topic quite well. Its also polished my writing and analytical skills. Its gave me a clear idea of context of the paper and how I would cite my primary sources and interviews in correct form. Now I can write a well-developed research paper due to my deep understanding of work. This abstract has showed me how to emphasis on key points and showed me how to use pathos effectively to peruse the reader while doing my research paper
