Woman being subservient to man

"[God] said, 'I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Gen. 1, 2, 3].'" "For a man...is the image of glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman, but the woman for the man. (1 Cor. 11)"
Leavitt, Harold J., and Louis R. Pondy. "Training the Woman to Know Her Place: The Power of a Non-conscious Ideology." Readings in Managerial Psychology. Chicago: U of Chicago, 1964. N. pag. Print.
