Like I saw in my exploratory essay, it has been argued that Milton wrote Eve in the style that Virgil would have seen her. Milton's interpretation of Eve is much more understood if you look at it from an Ovidian cast. While Eve can recount the tale of her creation, this is an example Milton took from an Ovidian episode and placed it in Paradise Lost.
