Resting Place of Jesus

It is stated here that the birthplace of the "root of Jesse", or Jesus, will have a glorious resting place.  I took this to mean that the place of Jesus' death would be considered a holy place, due to how revered he was among his people.  In my research, I found that after Jesus' death, he rose from the tomb in which he was placed, returning to life.  This is a very holy event, which would definitely make his resting place glorious. (Chambers)  However, thinking more on it, this might also be in reference to not only where Jesus was laid to rest, but where he actually died, meaning the cross.  The cross itself has become the most widely accepted symbol of Christianity, and both Christ and God are strongly associated with it.  In this way also, Jesus' resting place has become glorious.
