Meaning of Holy Mountain

In this verse, a "holy mountain" is referenced.  In context, it would seem that the "holy mountain" is yet another term for the whole world, but it seemed odd to me to refer to the whole world as a "mountain".  Thinking further about this, I remembered the name Temple Mount, and researched it because I was not quite sure exactly what the Temple Mount was.  It turns out that the Temple Mount was built on Mount Moriah, where it is said Abraham was tested by God, resulting in the binding of his son Isaac in order for Abraham to sacrifice his son for God before being stopped at the last second. (The New Encyclopedia)  This is the only other ""Holy Mountain" I could think of, if the passage is not referring to the world as a whole.
