These network analyses detail the connections between professors from Alabama, Arkansas, and Georgia in the data set. I will go more in depth, but these analyses reveal that professors from R1 Doctoral Universities tend to come from P.h.D. M.A. or M.F.A. programs at R1 Doctoral Universities.
Brown represents universities where the highest degree was obtained. Blue represents the professors from Alabama, Arkansas, and Georgia.
